Appeal for witnesses and information following assault in Netley

We are appealing for witnesses, information and footage following a reported assault in Netley earlier this month.

During the incident, which occurred between 2pm and 3pm on Monday 2 February, it’s reported that a man in his 40s was approached and assaulted by several men.

One of the men struck the victim on the head with a hammer, leaving him with a fractured skull. He has since been discharged from hospital.

Did you witness anything of the assault which occurred on a lane off of Hound Road, near to Church of St Mary the Virgin?
